Musical Autumn in Krakow


Musical Autumn in Krakow has been founded by Jan Kalinowski and Marek Szlezer to fill and balance the panorama of classical music festivals in Poland and in the city of Krakow as there was no short, condensed musical event in its’ cultural offer which would combine popular, classical repertoire with promotion of modern music.

We are glad that for the fourth time we can, together with the Karol Szymanowski Cracow Philharmonic, invite you to participate inMusical Autumn in Krakow.The program of the fourth edition of the festival presents Polish and international musical masterpieces and one premiere of new musical work written especially for invited artists. This time our invitation was received by: Peter Jablonski, one of the most outstanding concert pianists, who will perform a two-piano program featuring Mozart, Gershwin and Stravinsky at the inaugural concert with his brother Patrik. During the second day of the festival Bukolika Piano Trio will present a very interesting program showing the various faces of the piano trioensmeble in the context of Polish music of the 20th century. Piano recital will also be performed by Ilja Domnins, Laureate of the 1st Prize and the Bielecki ArtFoundation Award for the Artistic Personality of the International Competition for Young Pianists "Chopin at Wawel". Clarinet and piano duo with Barbara Borowicz and Anna Miernik will be presenting the Polish music program with original works spanning from Dobrzynski to the world premiere of a piece written especially for performing artists during the last day of this year festival.

Elena Lola Loli

Graduated with honours from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Her diploma work film “And I Am the World” took place in “Coming Out 2014” exhibition of best diploma works. Author of graphic and musical performances based on contemporary music and surreal literature. Film and stage actress. Polish Film Academy Award winner – in 2009 she received “Eagle” for role in the movie “Little Moscow”.
